The SEC Reporting Group is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization focused on educating professionals on corporate governance and financial reporting issues. Timely, relevant and practical information is provided to its members through monthly meetings, our website and partnerships with other organizations. The SEC Reporting Group is unique because of its focus on quality programming, member participation and focus on providing solutions to its members. Specifically, we provide a platform to share ideas and best practices.

The SEC Reporting Group was founded by Mr. Jay Roy in 2002 and continues to be a leading edge resource for financial professionals in the Dallas and Houston markets. The organization continues to grow as more demand for this organization spreads across the United States. Its inception commenced at the start of the pronouncement of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Mr. Roy continues to act as the chapter presidents of the organization. He also leads the programming committee to ensure the programming is relevant and timely for its members.
